There are two convenient ways to make an appointment at Southeastern Fertility Center.
1. During business hours simply call 843-881-3900 (more details below), or 2. By filling out the online appointment form our New Patient Coordinators will contact you during the next business day to answer any questions you have and complete the new patient appointment process.
What To Expect During Your First Visit
Your first visit to Southeastern Fertility Center will not only
begin the process toward resolving your reproductive health issues,
but also give you a chance to tour our facility and meet our staff.
We understand that the decision to seek treatment from an infertility
specialist can be a difficult one and we are committed to working
closely with you each step of the way to achieve your ultimate
goal of building a family.
The initial new patient evaluation includes a one hour consultation
with one of our reproductive endocrinologists, Dr.
Grant Patton, Dr. John
Schnorr or Dr. Michael Slowey.
During this consultation, a comprehensive history and physical
examination will be performed. This is followed by a discussion
of the possible causes of your infertility and an explanation
of the tests that will help to establish the diagnosis. Several
treatment options will be discussed, along with the advantages,
disadvantages and costs of each option.
 Following the physician consultation, you will have the opportunity
to meet with one of our nurse coordinators who will help schedule
the diagnostic tests and begin treatment if you feel that you
are ready to move forward. Financial counselors are also available
to help you understand your insurance coverage, the costs
associated with evaluation and treatment along with our many
financial options. At Southeastern
Fertility Center, our goal is to provide each patient
with all
of the information
they
need to become an active participant in their treatment. Please
be assured that our team of physicians, nurses and financial
counselors will answer any questions you may have and offer
guidance to help
you make an informed and appropriate treatment decision.
