Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG)

Strength: 10,000 Units

Administer as follows:

Draw up 1 cc of diluent (liquid) into syringe. Inject into vial of powder. The powder should dissolve quickly. Withdraw all of the mixture back into the syringe. You should have 1 cc even after mixed with the powder. The injection is then administered into the muscle in the upper outer quadrant of the buttock.

You will be told exactly what time to get the hCG injection. The timing of the injection is scheduled in relation to when your procedure will be performed.
