Staff: Dr. Stephanie Singleton

Dr. Stephanie Dare Singleton is a fellowship-trained reproductive endocrinologist who joined Southeastern Fertility Center in the summer of 2006. Throughout her fellowship, she was intricately involved in the treatment of infertility patients through surgery and the latest in assisted reproductive techniques. Dr. Singleton also conducted extensive research during her training, primarily focusing on male infertility and the use of three-dimensional ultrasound.

After earning a degree in Nursing from the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing in Atlanta, where she was selected as Student of the Year, Dr. Singleton continued her medical education. She completed medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia and an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Her interest in the treatment of infertility led her to a Reproductive Endocrinology fellowship at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia. She has been the recipient of numerous scholarships, honors, and awards throughout her academic career and earned the 2004-2005 Endocrine Fellows Foundation Research grant for her study of the functional significance of the germ cell specific histone hTSH2B in human sperm.

In addition to seeing patients at Southeastern Fertility Center, Dr. Singleton will also work with the students and residents in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Medical University of South Carolina in her role as assistant professor. She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
