Peter Wieckowski, Ph.D.
Embryologist

Peter is an embryologist with over 12 years experience in IVF. He is highly skilled in all current state-of-the art procedures in embryology and andrology including embryo biopsy for genetic diagnosis.

Peter worked at Reproductive Medicine & IVF in New York as an embryologist after completion of his undergraduate degree. He was then laboratory supervisor and chief embryologist at the Fertility Center and Applied Genetics of Florida before joining Southeastern Fertility Center in 2000. Peter has also been a consulting embryologist for numerous IVF programs.

Peter received a Bachelor's of Science degree in biology from the State University of New York, and his Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology from the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston. His doctoral research focused on transcription factor genes, and their role during embryonic development.

Peter is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysts in the disciplines of embryology and andrology. He is a member of Association of Reproductive Medicine, the College of Reproductive Biologists, American Board of Bioanalysts, and the International Embryo Transfer Society.
